Double ARC, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Notre Dame, celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Kaleidoscope of Children Breakfast, October 17 at the Pinnacle. Over 325 people attended the celebration. Kathy Mitchel, VP of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (NOFAS) related her personal story of the dangers of drinking while pregnant. Sr. Suzette Fisher, SND, a co-founder of Double ARC and Director of Client Services, was honored for her 25 years of service to the ministry. Double ARC is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Five foundations received a special almanac of philanthropy as an appreciation gift for their generous support. Cindy Sofo Baker received the Volunteer of the Year award for her longtime work with Double ARC. The crowd watched two impactful videos which talked of the founding of the non- profit and the present work in helping children who have been prenatally exposed to alcohol. The event raised over $55,000.

Accepting a personalized Almanac were Sr. Marilyn Marie Ellerbrock and Sr. Rita Marie Schroeder. A personalized nameplate was created by Sr. Jaculin Manders to thank the community for their support.
