Sisters come in all shapes and sizes and have unique stories of how they came to know and respond to their call. These Sisters share what drew them to Notre Dame and what keeps them here.

Sr. Mary Celine Bundschuh, SND

Being a Sister of Notre Dame for 43 years is amazing and unbelievable.  It is not just about "where have all the years gone" but moreso, Wow!--the lovely adventures, inspirations and God-moments with people met along the way. Yes, I am truly blest.  Praise God! (Sr. Mary Celine teaches 4th Grade at the Franciscan Academy of Lourdes University, Sylvania, OH)

Sr. Elizabeth Maria Garacia, SND

"God has gifted me with a vocation to Notre Dame (sister of Our Lady) that I treasure.  As a Sister I am a part of a strong network of sisters who support me in ministry. Because of this support I am able to walk shoulder to shoulder with the people I serve and to be an extension of God's goodness and provident care.  Our Lord and Our Lady love you.  Be at peace." Sr. Mary Ralph Gerdeman, SND

"I am blessed to be a Sister of Notre Dame, called to share God's goodness and caring love with all those I meet each day. My ministry as community pharmacist in our Sisters of Notre Dame Health Care Center has allowed me to serve my Sisters daily and to experience their love and support. My challenge each day is to be Christ to each person I meet."
