“John was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist. He fed on locusts and wild honey. And this is what he proclaimed: ‘One mightier than I is coming after me. I am not worthy to stoop and loosen the thongs of his sandals.’”
This reminds us of other words of John, i.e., “He must increase; I must decrease.”
What must he have seen in Jesus to feel this way?
What do you see in Jesus that makes you want to follow him and his way?
Heritage word—“The following of Christ means a surrender of the heart to Him.”
