During his time on earth Jesus was living bread—he nourished people with his words and actions as he mingled with them. Pull some of those events from your memory.
Before his death he offered us his very self that we, too, may be alive in his spirit; i.e., nourish people by our positive attitude, helpfulness, act of kindness . . .
