“Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself.
Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.’
And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.”
Notice Jesus identifying himself by the wounds that the disciples would recognize.
Be aware of how compassionate Jesus was toward the confused and fearful disciples.
Carry with you the call to be compassionate with people today, regardless of their state of mind and heart.
Heritage word—“When was the last time you sat by the side of a lonely person, a social outcast, a burdened parent, a delinquent child, a seriously ill person in order to give him/her your total attention?”
