“When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified. ‘It is a ghost,’ they said, and they cried out in fear. At once Jesus spoke to them, ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’”
Sing the following words from, “Be Not Afraid”– “When you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown.”
Aware that God cannot preserve us from all troubles, listen to those words from the prophet Isaiah and of Jesus assuring us that God is with us in our troubles, so we need not ask “Why?”
Let that assurance sink deep roots of faith and courage in your heart.
Heritage word—“May we all become other Christs, by a very faithful correspondence with the designs of his adorable providence for us.”
