“Jesus said to them, ‘Children, have you caught anything to eat?’ They answered him, “No.” So he said to them, ‘Cast the net over the right side of the boat and you will find something.’ So they cast it, and were not able to pull it in because of the number of fish. So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord.’ ”
Isn’t it curious that Jesus calls the disciples “children”!
Might this have reminded them of the time when Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me”?
That address followed by the number of fish they caught clued the disciples in on Jesus’ identity and the life-lesson he was teaching them.
Heritage word—“For forty days after the resurrection he guides his disciples to look outward, to think outward and to move outward.”
