“Jesus went up on the mountain, and there he sat down with his disciples. The Jewish feast of Passover was near.”
Knowing that he was on the “hit list,” how might Jesus have looked upon his disciple at this time?
Allow him to look at you as if before an event which calls forth strength of faith.
What comes into your mind and heart in this situation?
Heritage word—“We shall make rapid strides on the way to holiness if we generously take our stand on Calvary, not asking the Lord to take away the cross, but to give us patience and perseverance to bear it generously.”
(Mother Mary Antonie, 4th Superior General of the Sisters of Notre Dame)
