“When they all saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.”
Experience the ambivalence within the disciples here.
When have you ever worshiped and doubted at the same time?
In order to grow in your faith in God, ask for the grace to know what causes ambivalence in you
and avoid that cause of temptation. When at worship, recall the fact that your prayer can reach
beyond the church, our continent, across oceans and make a difference in lives there.
Heritage word—“Let us praise the Lord for all the mercies we have received at His hands,
and never for a moment give way to distrust.”
(Mother Mary Antonie, 4th Superior General of the Sisters of Notre Dame)
